If you want to read a cute book about family vacations in Thailand this is not it. This book is about the seamy side of Bangkok life in the red light district. There are some funny moments--extremely sad/funny. It is about twisted expats from England and one delusional soul from the U.S. It is about young Thai prostitutes being terribly mistreated, drugs, and violence.It is impossible for me to believe that people find this book "funny and hilarious".I somehow purchased this book and two sequels without knowing what I was buying. I have to be more careful in the future.
